There are already loads of speculations surrounding the alleged snake man that frequents Robinson’s Galleria Mall. The urban legend that peaked around the 90’s once again made an outburst on social recently.
There have been various articles and mini documentaries which feature the said creature including an unverified video that shows an image of the snake man. Currently the video has already 1.5 million views.
Several versions of this has already sprouted the most popular one being that a snake in a humanoid form has access to the mall’s CCTV cameras which enables him to spy on women particularly in the ladies’ fitting rooms. After he chooses his unsuspecting victim, he then enables the floor trap which drops the victim through a hole leading to his underground chamber. Rumors circulated that the snake man rapes his victims and eats them alive.
Other stories about this would go as far as saying the snake was a female that laid golden eggs which is the source of the wealth of the Gokongwei family. Another also says that the alleged snake man is Robinson, son of John Gokongwei Jr. and twin brother of Robina Gokongwei and the snake-like description were only an exaggeration of his abnormal condition.
On the other hand, there are some who strongly believe that the rumors about this aren’t real and that this is just a product of tight competition among rival malls. For now, without any concrete proof that the snake man is actually real, then it must remain nothing but an urban legend.
